The second phase of voting is going on for 122 assembly seats in 20 districts of Bihar. Meanwhile, once again the issue of hijab related to Muslim women voters has come up. In Jehanabad, Bihar, a woman informed that during checking, she was requested at the gate itself to take off her hijab but she refused.
The woman said that there are so many people standing outside, she can’t stand here. If I go inside to vote, I can take off the hijab. It is not right to lift hijab in front of everyone, isn’t it? Why do we leave the house wearing hijab? There is some trouble. Giving this reason, the woman refused to take off the hijab outside. After this he went inside and voted and, as per the rules, showed his face by presenting his identity card.
