Our Nishad community has 11 percent vote bank and whenever we have contested elections, we have shown our strength. I will definitely have a role in the government as Deputy Chief Minister.
Mukesh Sahni also commented on the role of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party. He said that many parties are contesting elections in Bihar, but the direct contest is between the Grand Alliance and the NDA. He said that Prashant Kishor is not a deciding factor, but other parties including his Jan Suraj Party will take part in the elections.

After the announcement of election dates in Bihar, Mukesh Sahni also talked about his party’s preparations and strategy. He said that I was waiting for this moment for three and a half years. Three and a half years ago we were part of the government, but BJP bought four of our MLAs and removed us from the government we formed. In these three and a half years, we have focused on only one thing – connecting with people, working hard and serving them. Our preparations have been completed and seats will be announced soon. The results will be very good.
Nitish Kumar is now the Chief Minister in name only – Sahni
Mukesh Sahni also targeted Nitish Kumar and said that Nitish Kumar is now the Chief Minister in name only. They are not our challenge. Times have changed and people now want young leadership and original thinking. The VIP President also expressed his expectations from the Election Commission. He said that being a constitutional institution, the primary responsibility of the Commission is to protect the Constitution and conduct free and fair elections. Mukesh Sahni alleged that Nitish Kumar has been in power for 20 years and even today he feels the need to buy votes, which shows that he has not done the basic work.

Mukesh Sahni said that the public now wants original work, not imitation. He made it clear that the people want an original Chief Minister and we will form the government under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav.
