Janata Dal United (JDU) has released its first list for the elections to be held on 243 assembly seats of Bihar. There are names of 57 candidates in the first list of JDU, but there are some seats in this list which are being discussed. Because JDU has fielded its candidates on three seats which are in the share of Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s party LJP (R), which is included in the NDA, it was believed that these three seats are in the share of Chirag’s party but now JDU has fielded its candidates on them.

The seats on which JDU has fielded its candidates for Bihar elections include Morwa assembly seat of Samastipur, Sonbarsa of Saharsa and Rajgir assembly seat of Nalanda district. Where JDU has given ticket to Vidyasagar Singh Nishad from Morwa, Ratnesh Sada from Sonbarsa and Kaushal Kishore from Rajgir. After JDU has fielded candidates on these three seats, Chirag Paswan’s LJP (R) is also ready to announce its candidates.

Now it will be interesting to see whether Chirag Paswan will also field his candidates from the seats declared by JDU or not. Because if he does this then the differences between JDU and LJP (R) will be exposed. However, all this will be clear only after the announcement of the candidates by LJP (R).

Before voting in Bihar elections, many political equations are seen changing. However, in NDA, for Bihar elections, Nitish Kumar’s party has been given 101 seats, BJP 101 and LJP (R) 29 seats. Although it is not completely clear yet which party will contest from which seat, but NDA parties are declaring their candidates well in advance. BJP has also recently released the list of its 71 candidates.
