Record breaking voting has taken place in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections (2025). Bihar has created history. Last Thursday (November 06, 2025), the voting percentage in the first phase of voting was 64.66. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave his reaction on this today (Friday). Also made a big appeal to the people for the next elections.

He further wrote in the post, “Voting in a democracy is not only our right but also our responsibility. The people of Bihar are requested to vote with the same enthusiasm in the second phase on the coming 11th, so that Bihar can progress further. Everyone should be respected, everyone should develop.”
Party claimed better results than 2010
JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan said on the historic turnout of more than 64% in the first phase of voting in Bihar, “See, this is an unprecedented turnout and it has ensured that we will get better results than 2010. The successful duo of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have rejuvenated Bihar…”
Sanjay Jha said – Opposition’s hopes were dashed
JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said, “Seeing the crushing defeat in this election, the frustrated opposition has started making various excuses and trying to create narratives. During the voting, the people of the opposition were making fabricated allegations throughout the day that the Election Commission was conducting slow voting. But in the evening, when the data came out that there was not slow voting in Bihar, but historic voting, then the opposition’s hopes were dashed.”
