Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore has announced that he will contest from Karghar assembly seat of Rohtas. This was announced by Prashant Kishore in a digital channel’s Conclave on Wednesday (September 03, 2025). Santosh Mishra is currently an MLA from Congress from this seat. 2Talking about the election of 020, Vasistha Singh of Nitish Kumar’s party JDU was second from here.
Prashant Kishore said that anyone should fight his birthplace or karmabhoomi. However, he also said that Nitish Kumar does not contest elections, if he fights, he would also fight from the same seat.
Prashant Kishore said that he said about Tejashwi Yadav that he will fight Raghopur, and from where he will fight. On the other hand, PK also clearly said that the party will decide on contesting himself. PK also said that if he does not fight Karghar, he will fight Raghopur.

Now Prashant Kishore has increased the tension of the current MLA by announcing to contest from here.
JDU told Jan Suraj Votekatwa Party
On the other hand, JDU National General Secretary Manish Verma in Sitamarhi, Bihar said on Wednesday (September 03, 2025), “Jan Suraj is a votecutwa party. They are not getting a seat, share the cards as much as you have to distribute. The people are confusing people by distributing the profit cards. People will throw this profit card in the drain.”
