Bihar elections: 42.31% voting till 1 pm in the first phase, this is the situation on the seats of Maithili Thakur, Tej Pratap, Anant Singh.


In the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections, an average of 42.31 percent voting was recorded in the state till 1 pm on Thursday, 6 November 2025. Till 1 pm, the highest turnout was recorded in Gopalganj and the least in Patna. Even in Patna, the lowest voting has been recorded in Bankipur and Digha seats.

According to the preliminary data of the Election Commission, voting is going on peacefully. The first phase of voting is taking place today on 121 assembly seats in 18 districts of the state. A total of more than 3.75 crore voters are deciding the fate of 1,314 candidates. According to the Commission, the voting process is going on smoothly at most of the booths and no major irregularities have been reported from anywhere.

What is the condition of voting in 18 districts?

46.02% Begusarai, Bhojpur 41.15%, Buxar 41.10%, Darbhanga 39.35%, Gopalganj 46.73%, Khagaria 42.94%, Lakhisarai 46.37%, Madhepura 44.16%, Munger 41.47%, Muzaffarpur. Voting percentage was 45.41%, Nalanda 41.87%, Patna 37.72%, Saharsa- 44.20%, Samastipur- 43.03%, Saran- 43.06%, Sheikhpura 41.23%, 41.20% Siwan, Vaishali 42.60%.

Talking about the voting percentage till 1 pm, the voting percentage in Mokama seat – 41.78%, Danapur – 36.37%, Mahua seat – 40.41%, Raghopur – 43.31%, Alinagar 37.50%, Lakhisarai – 44.20%, Ekma – 41.52%, Raghunathpur – 42.23%, Tarapur. It happened.

Till 11 am, 28.46 percent in Madhepura, 26.07 percent in Darbhanga, 29.66 percent in Muzaffarpur, 27.09 percent in Siwan, 28.52 percent in Saran, 28.67 percent in Vaishali, 27.92 percent in Samastipur, 28.96 percent in Khagaria, 26.68 percent in Munger, 26.04 percent voting was recorded in Sheikhpura, 26.86 percent in Nalanda, 26.76 percent in Bhojpur and 28.02 percent in Buxar.

Apart from this, relatively higher voting took place in Gopalganj (30.04 percent), Lakhisarai (30.32 percent) and Saharsa (29.68 percent).
