Before the Bihar assembly elections, an important meeting of the Grand Alliance parties was held on Sunday (5 October) at Tejashwi Yadav’s residence in Patna. In this meeting which lasted for about five hours, there was a long discussion on issues ranging from seat sharing to leadership. After the meeting, the statement of VIP chief Mukesh Sahni increased the political stir.
When the reporters asked him, “Who will be the deputy CM?”, Sahni smiled and said – “Is this too to say? Say auspicious auspicious, we will form the government and we will become the deputy CM.” Sahni’s statement is not only considered to be a symbol of confidence, but it is also considered to be a big political sign between the ongoing tug of war and posts within the Grand Alliance.

Five hours of meeting, leaders of all parties present
The meeting started at 6 pm and lasted till 11 pm. On behalf of RJD, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and MP Sanjay Yadav, State President Rajesh Ram and Krishna Allavaru from Congress, Mukesh Sahni from VIP and many senior leaders of Left parties attended. According to sources, there was a discussion in several stages about seat sharing in the meeting and cross checking was done in the seats where more than one parties claimed.
Congress said – It is too early to conclude now
After the meeting, Congress state president Rajesh Ram said that things inside should not come out. At present, the discussion is going on and it would not be appropriate to reach any conclusion in a hurry. He informed that every seat was discussed deeply in the meeting and the opinion of all parties was given importance.
Mukesh Sahni announces press conference
VIP chief Mukesh Sahni said that the seat sharing and candidates will be announced by holding a press conference within two days. He said that there will be a meeting again on Monday in which ‘121 Manthan’ will be discussed on every seat so that no party has disagreement.
Left party said- everything is almost fixed
Leader of the Left Ajay Kumar claimed that the seat -sharing in the Grand Alliance has almost been decided. He said that the seats can be officially announced by holding a press conference on Tuesday, October 7. At the same time, CPI (M) leader Lalan Chaudhary made it clear that Tejashwi Yadav will be the face of the post of Chief Minister, on which all the parties have agreed.
RJD clarified about Paras
Senior RJD leader Alok Mehta said on speculation that Pashupati Kumar Paras joined the alliance that there has been no discussion on this subject till now. Whenever this issue comes, we will inform the media.
Today will be a meeting again, final decision may be made
At the end of Sunday’s meeting, it was also decided that there will be a meeting at Tejashwi Yadav’s residence on Monday. In this, the leaders of all parties will once again gather and try to create a final agreement on the seats. According to sources, the goal of the Grand Alliance is to announce the seats by Tuesday so that the election campaign strategy can be decided.
