MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh also reacted to Congress getting less seats in Bihar elections. He said, “We had to accommodate Mukesh Sahni ji and give him due respect, in such a situation we had to make some adjustments here and there and hence we reduced some seats.”

Last day of nomination on 17th October
Friday (October 17) is the last day for the first phase of nomination for Bihar assembly elections. Meanwhile, the final formula for seat sharing in the Grand Alliance has not been formally announced yet. According to sources, there are still differences between the constituent parties on some seats. However, Congress and RJD are distributing symbols to their respective candidates.
What does VIP’s Mukesh Sahni want?
On the other hand, the complications in the grand alliance have increased due to Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni. If sources are to be believed, Mukesh Sahni is not only adamant about some seats of his choice, but he also wants to announce his name for the post of Deputy CM. However, Tejashwi Yadav is said to be not agreeing to their demands.
Voting is taking place in two phases on 243 seats in Bihar. In the first phase, voting will be held on November 6, while in the second phase, voting will be held on November 11, while the results will be declared on November 14.
