Before the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, political turmoil has intensified regarding the post of CM and Deputy CM in the Grand Alliance. BJP MP from Godda, Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey has given a big statement regarding VIP chief Mukesh Sahni.
He said that when Mukesh Sahni himself is not contesting the elections, then the question of becoming Deputy CM does not arise. Referring to the allegations of corruption against him, Nishikant Dubey said that he was removed from the post of minister for this reason.
Political heat increased in Grand Alliance
After the Grand Alliance in Bihar declared Tejashwi Yadav as the CM and Mukesh Sahni as the Deputy CM face, the opposition has called it a “political stunt”. Nishikant Dubey said that when Sahni is no longer even the leader of his MLAs, then what is the guarantee that he will not join any other party after the elections. He sarcastically said, “Let the elections be held, Mukesh Sahni’s entire party will eventually merge with RJD.”
Lollipop given to Tejashwi- Nishikant Dubey
Nishikant Dubey also targeted Tejashwi Yadav. In a statement given to PTI, he said that declaring Tejashwi’s name as CM face is actually giving him a “lollipop” because there is no certainty about the results. He raised the question that when there is no trust in each other within the Grand Alliance itself, then how should the public trust them? Dubey said that Tejashwi Yadav’s dream is not to become Deputy CM but to become CM, in such a situation how will he allow someone else to take a big post.

Owaisi and RJD also attacked
The BJP MP also took a dig at Asaduddin Owaisi and RJD in his statement. He said, “Owaisi speaks the most against us, but who defeated 4 of his 5 MLAs? RJD.” Calling it a “double game” of opposition politics in Bihar, Dubey said that the public is watching everything and will definitely respond to it in the elections.
