Candidates of Prashant Kishor’s party Jan Suraj are being threatened. Prashant Kishore himself has told this. On Tuesday (October 21, 2025), he held a press conference at Sheikhpura House on Bailey Road, Patna. During this, Prashant Kishore said that it is within our knowledge that 14 candidates of Jan Suraj have been threatened and intimidated in various ways. Three people broke away but 240 people are still standing together with courage.

Prashant Kishore said, “Our candidate from Kumhrar, Prof. KC Sinha, has also been put under a lot of pressure. People told me that he has also been threatened a lot, but want to thank him that he did not waver. For the first time, Jan Suraj has given ticket to a teacher from Valmikinagar. He resigned two years ago and joined Jan Suraj. He has not received his salary for two years. Now after the nomination, the local administration is putting pressure on him to accept your resignation. Has not been done. You cannot contest elections.”

‘Home Minister…Union Minister is threatening’

Prashant Kishore further said that the country’s Home Minister and Union Minister are threatening the declared candidate of the other party. They are creating pressure by sitting at his house. The people of Bihar should see this. Currently 240 warriors of Jan Suraj are in the field. Will defeat BJP, are not afraid of anyone, no matter how much they threaten.

Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party, Jan Suraj’s founder further said, “They are not afraid of the Grand Alliance because there are strongmen standing there too. These people are afraid of good people, doctors, businessmen, this is the fear of Jan Suraj. We have fielded so many good people that these people are scared.”

Questioned the Election Commission that if you cannot protect the candidate then how will you protect the voters? If candidates can be intimidated then how will they stop voters from being intimidated?
