Before the Bihar Assembly elections (2025), leaders from the Grand Alliance and NDA are making big promises. Manifesto has also been released by both the alliances. Meanwhile, there is news regarding the Grand Alliance that if the government is formed, four Deputy CMs can be made.
From the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav (OBC) has been declared the Chief Ministerial candidate while Mukesh Sahni (EBC) has been declared the Deputy CM candidate. With this, the Grand Alliance is now facing the fear of loss among the Dalit, Muslim and upper caste communities.
The decision has almost been taken in the Grand Alliance
According to sources, the Grand Alliance has considered that Mukesh Sahni from EBC will become the Deputy CM and three more Deputy CMs will also be made from Muslim, Dalit and upper caste communities. There is definitely a situation of confusion regarding when the Grand Alliance will announce this because one section feels that the announcement of 4 Deputy CMs simultaneously may lead to allegations of being greedy for power. Therefore, brainstorming is going on as to when the announcement should be made, but the decision has almost been taken.
Despite this, leaders and spokespersons have been asked to respond positively to this principled decision. If sources are to be believed, Tejashwi himself can give a positive answer regarding this question.
Let us tell you that currently there is an NDA government and there are two Deputy Chief Ministers each. Both are from BJP. One Samrat Choudhary and the other Vijay Kumar Sinha have been made Deputy CM. Now it remains to be seen whose government will be formed after the elections and how many Deputy CMs will be made. At present, preparations are going on for four Deputy CMs in the Grand Alliance. If the government is formed then it will be known who else gets the chance apart from VIP’s Mukesh Sahni.
