There is great news for the youth looking for government jobs in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO). If you are a graduate and want to go to government service then this opportunity can be special for you. A total of 41 posts will be filled under recruitment.

When will the applications start?

The online application process for BPSC ASO recruitment 2025 will start from 29 May 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The last date for filling the form has been fixed on 23 June 2025. Therefore, candidates are advised not to wait for the last date and complete the application in time.

eligibility requirements

Candidates applying for these posts should have a degree of graduation from a recognized university.

Age limit

Talking about the age limit of the candidates applying, the minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age has been fixed at 37 years for male candidate and 40 years for female candidate. At the same time, the candidates of the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per rules.

What is the application fee?

Candidates will have to submit the application fee. The fee for General, OBC and other state candidates is Rs 600. Whereas SC, ST, woman (only from Bihar) and disabled candidates have been charged Rs 150. Fees can be paid online through online.

How will the selection be?

The selection of candidates for these posts will be on the basis of prelims and main examination (Mains). Candidates who are successful in pre examination will be called for the main examination. The final selection will be done on the basis of the performance of both these examinations.

4. Login after registration and fill the remaining details.
