BPSC Jobs 2025: If you are looking for a government job and you have a post graduation degree in statistics, mathematics or economics, then you have a great news. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recruited the posts of District Statistical Officer/Assistant Director. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 47 posts.
The process of online application for these posts has started at bpsc.bihar.gov.in and the last date of application has been fixed on 24 June 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Commission. Keep in mind, applications will be accepted only in online mode.
Who can apply?
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have a degree of post graduation in statistics, mathematics or economics from a recognized university.
Age limit
Talking about age, the minimum age should be 21 years at the time of application. The maximum age limit for general male candidates has been fixed at 37 years for female candidates. Reserved category candidates will be given exemption as per rules.
What is the application fee?
For recruitment, candidates of General, OBC and other state will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. While SC/ST/Women candidate (only Bihar resident) is Rs 150.
Get so much salary
Under this recruitment, selected candidates will get salary from Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,67,800 per month as per Level-9. Along with this, other allowances from the government will also be found. For more information, candidates can check the official notification available on the BPSC website.

- First go to BPSC website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
- Click on the “Apply Online” section.
- Go to the new page and register first.
- After registration, fill the information sought and upload the document.
- Now pay the prescribed fee.
- In the end, take out the printout of the filled application form and keep the sev.
