On the instructions of Patna District Magistrate, a helpline has been established at the district level to ensure smooth supply and distribution of domestic gas and its monitoring. Any consumer or general public can give information, complaint or information in this regard on phone number – 0612-2219810 from 9 am to 6 pm. Immediate action will be taken by the district administration.
Supaul DM said- avoid rumors
On the other hand, the district administration has clarified the situation regarding the concern spread among consumers regarding the alleged shortage of LPG in Supaul. The DM has appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumours. District Magistrate Sawan Kumar has told LPG consumers that there is no shortage of LPG anywhere in the district. Gas is being provided regularly to all consumers.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday, gas consumers had protested by blocking roads at various places in Supaul against the alleged arbitrariness of gas agencies and problems in the availability of gas. NH was blocked. After this the district administration team is seen in active mode.
The administration says that there is adequate availability of gas in the district and constant monitoring is being done to keep the distribution system smooth. In Munger also, the District Magistrate has appealed to avoid rumors of gas shortage. Let us tell you that there is an atmosphere of chaos in Munger also. There is a long queue at the gas warehouse since four in the morning. The District Magistrate has said that there is sufficient stock of LPG cylinders in the district.
