Bihar CM Nitish Kumar: JDU has supported the Waqf Bill after which three leaders have resigned from the party. The resigned leaders include Qasim Ansari, Shahnawaz Malik and Tabrej Siddiqui. After the resignation of these leaders, there has been a reaction from JDU. JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan said in a conversation with ABP News on Friday (April 04, 2025) that the three Muslim leaders who resigned had nothing to do with the party. There have been neither officials nor have been involved in the party’s activity.

Rajiv Ranjan said that rumors are being spread at the behest of selfish elements that these people were associated with JDU. I refute in strong words. These leaders have nothing to do with the party. He further said that leaders like Ghulam Gaus, Ghulam Rasul Balliavi are standing with the party. Nitish Kumar is with the Waqf Bill. This is a guarantee of transparency, fairness. This bill is a ray of hope for poor and Pasmanda Muslims.

‘Will tell how the Waqf Board had become the hub of robbery’

Attacking the opposition, the JDU leader said, “The opposition is spreading confusion about the bill. We will go among the public to resolve it. How the Waqf Board had become a robbery base. Lalu also said in his speech in Parliament. The deficiencies through this bill were improved.”

Rajiv Ranjan said that Nitish Kumar is standing with the Waqf Amendment Bill, which means that there will be transparency. The loot will be banned. RJD has put a poster of Nitish Kumar in Patna. Nitish Kumar has been described as a chameleon. On this poster, he said that this is an insult to Nitish means an insult to the whole of Bihar. 14 crore people will not forgive. RJD has a disgrace. There will be no break in JDU. The party is united. Now in the election, the public will teach RJD a lesson. Can not take votes.
