On Sunday, a case of demolition of idols of Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati and Lord Ganesha has come to light in two temples near Moti Bigha Sun Temple of Nagar police station area in Nawada, Bihar. The incident created a sensation in the entire area. This incident created an atmosphere of tension in the area. It is being seen as an attempt to spoil mutual brotherhood.
The entire area turned into a police camp
As soon as the incident was reported, the police force led by DM Ravi Prakash, SP Abhinav Dhiman, DSP Hulas Kumar and SDO Amit Anurag immediately controlled the situation by reaching the spot. In view of security, the area was converted into a police camp. Initial investigation seems to have done this act in a planned manner by some anti -social elements, which may aim to harm social harmony and mutual brotherhood.
The police has started a thorough investigation into the case and a special team has been formed, which is investigating other possible reasons including land disputes. Also, a five -member team has been sent to Banaras to replace the fragmented idols, so that the sanctity of temples can be restored by bringing new sculptures as soon as possible. DSP Hulas Kumar and city police station in -charge Avinash Kumar have directed the police force to be stationed at the scene till further orders.
This incident has created resentment and concern among the local people, but the administration has appealed everyone to maintain peace and restraint. DM and SP themselves reached the spot and took stock of the situation and assured that the culprits would be caught as soon as possible. The administration clarified that such incidents are an attempt to weaken social unity and the society will have to combat such forces.
Appeal to people not to pay attention to rumors
Local leaders and social organizations have also appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and maintain mutual brotherhood. The police and administration have deployed additional force to maintain peace in the area, so that any kind of disturbance can be prevented. In this sensitive matter, all efforts are being made to keep the situation under control with the readiness of the administration and the cooperation of the public.
