Nalanda news: A woman has been gangraped in Bihar. The woman was returning by bike from a relative with her husband. During this time, two miscreants carried out this incident on the way. The whole matter is of Islampur police station area of Nalanda. This is the incident of the night of Sunday (30 March, 2025). One accused was also caught. On Monday (31 March, 2025), when the police went to apprehend the second accused, he was attacked. This incident has now come to light.
It is said that on Sunday night, the couple riding the bike were returning from their relatives in Ekangarasarai. Meanwhile, two bike riders surrounded him on the way. Both miscreants beat the woman’s husband first. Some jewelery was also looted with 50 thousand cash. When the woman protested, she was also beaten. After this, he was also gangraped.
After receiving information about the incident, the police became active. DSP Gopal Krishna and Islampur Police Station Anil Kumar Pandey reached the spot. The victim couple was immediately admitted to the government hospital. Islampur police station in -charge Anil Kumar Pandey said that a case of rape and robbery has been registered in this case. The woman was sent to a government hospital under women police custody for medical examination. One accused has been arrested. He is Kaushalendra Kumar alias Sunny, a resident of Shobha Bigha village. Raids are going on for the arrest of another accused.
Police attacked
It is said that there is an incident on Sunday night, but no information was given to the media by the police on Monday. On Monday night, when the police went to raid the village of Jahanpur to catch the second accused Bablu, the villagers attacked. After the attack on the police, the entire case was detected.
