Gopal khemka murder: In the capital Patna, a big businessman Gopal Khemka was shot dead late on Friday (July 04, 2025). After this murder, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a high level meeting on the morning of Saturday (July 05, 2025). The Chief Minister directed to take strict action against criminals in a high-level review meeting of law and order.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has held this meeting in a resolution on an Ane Marg. Director General of Police and other senior police officers were present in this meeting. The Chief Minister instructed the officials that no crime should be taken in control. Strict action will be taken against the negligent officials and police personnel.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed by the Director General of Police about the updated status of the work being done for crime control. The Chief Minister took detailed information from the Director General of Police regarding the murder of industrialist Gopal Khemka. During this, he said that by fully investigating the reasons for the crime, identify the guilty and ensure strict action against them without any discrimination. If there is any conspiracy behind the criminal incident, then it should also be investigated and after investigation, strict action should be ensured.
During the review, the Chief Minister said that law and order is the top priority of the government. Whatever the crime, they should not be spared at any cost. He said that to speed up the research work of criminal incidents and complete it so that the culprits can take quick action. The police and administration should work with full vigor to maintain law and order.
