Question on announcement of 7 lakh 8 thousand 729 crore

The Leader of Opposition said, “Recently, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister announced a total of 7 lakh 8 thousand 729 crores. I want to ask the Chief Minister what his vision is? You do not have 1 lakh crores and you have talked about more than 7 lakh crores. Where will this money come from? What is the revenue creation of Bihar?

He further said that “This is not just ours, this is the question of the people of Bihar. We want to know from the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister that the announcements you have made are more than Rs 7 lakh crore, how will you make it possible? If more revenue was needed in future, how will you fulfill it. How will you fulfill it. This is my very simple question and I had questioned the corrupt people whether action was taken on anyone.”

He said that Nitish Kumar is the Chief Minister of Bihar for the last 20 years, but even today the state is struggling with corruption and unemployment. The RJD leader said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is misleading the public.

‘Bihar’s total budget is around 3.16 lakh crore rupees’

He said that in recent times, PM Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have announced more than Rs 7.08 lakh crore, while the financial condition of the state is not able to handle such a big schemes. The total budget of Bihar is about 3.16 lakh crore rupees, out of which about 2 lakh crore rupees are spent on committed items like salary, pension and interest.
