In Bihar, senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi led the opposition’s protests against the Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) outside the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Friday (July 25). During this, he made sensational allegations against the ruling BJP-JDU alliance and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.
‘Used to harass girls’
Rabri Devi has launched a scathing attack on Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. He said, “He used to hoist to boring road since childhood. I have seen him since childhood. He used to harass girls there.” This statement can create a new controversy in the politics of Bihar, because Chaudhary is one of the major OBC faces of BJP.
‘Tejashwi’s life threatened’
During the protest, Rabri Devi said, “We will definitely oppose because it is a question of the people of Bihar. What about 4 crore people who have gone out of the state? He also claimed that the government is trying to stop the opposition supporters from voting on the pretext of the voter list amendment.
‘Bin Pandi is like a lotus’
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also surrounded Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary and wrote on ‘X’ that, “Bihar’s honored father (not father) of Bihar’s Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary (will not call father) is threatening to bury the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the land of Bihar.”
He further said, “Due to his immoral acrobatics, most of the parties of Bihar have deviated into the parties of Bihar, rolling with their tongue and distracted under pressure, and distracted under pressure, the rich of unstable mind, impatient and fascinating Deputy Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister of the Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary’s culture, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, who lived in Gujarat, have made such a place.
Dispute over SIR
The opposition alleges that millions of names are being removed from the voter list under SIR, especially of Dalits, minorities and backward communities, who are considered supporters of the opposition. Rabri said that this is a well planned political move, which aims to weaken the opposition before the Bihar assembly elections. However, the Election Commission has described it as a standard process.
This statement of Rabri has warmed the politics of Bihar further. The possibility of uproar in the monsoon session of the Legislative Council has increased. Analysts believe that this dispute and tip can catch before the 2025 assembly elections.
