Anant Singh has reached the Assembly from jail to cast his vote. Meanwhile, he will participate in the voting process in the Rajya Sabha elections. During this, he was asked who he would vote for and he himself revealed it. Anant Singh replied that we will vote for Nitish Kumar.
Anant Singh reached to vote in government vehicle
MLA Anant Singh has reached the jail in a government vehicle to vote in the assembly. In his old style, wearing dark glasses and a white shirt, he said only one thing that he has come for Nitish Kumar.
Took oath as MLA after coming from jail
Anant Singh took oath as MLA in Bihar Assembly on 3 February 2026. After taking oath, he touched the feet of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and took blessings. Anant Singh, known as a strong MLA, was given permission by the Patna Civil Court to take oath in the Assembly.
After this, he was brought to the assembly amid tight security arrangements. He took oath as MLA after the proceedings of the second day of the budget session of the Assembly began. Tight security arrangements were made in and around the assembly premises.
Dularchand Yadav is accused of murder case
Let us tell you that Anant Singh is an accused in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. He has not yet got bail in this case. The court has not given permission to participate in any other activity except the oath ceremony. After the oath, he was sent back to Beur jail. Tight security arrangements were made to bring Anant Singh from jail to the Assembly and back.
