There are signs of rain in Bihar in the first week of October. Today (Wednesday) heavy rain alert has been issued in seven districts of the state by Patna Meteorological Center. These seven districts include Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Madhepura and Supaul. Along with lightning shining in these districts, there has also been a warning of thunderstorms. On the other hand, if there is heavy rains, the Dussehra fair may fade in these districts.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the majority districts of North Bihar with clouds. Its effect starts late at night. The department was issued a yellow alert on rainfall, Saharsa, Madhepura and Purnia between 1:56 am to 4:56 am. On the other hand, in many districts of eastern and central areas of South Bihar, rain and cloud roaring can cause winds at a speed of 30 to 40 km in some places.
The process of rain will continue till October 6
According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain in the state will continue till October 6. During this time, there is a possibility of rain in all the districts of Bihar. Its effect will be more in North Bihar. If there is rain, there will also be a drop in temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, three to four degrees of mercury may fall in the state since tomorrow (02 October 2025).
On Tuesday, there was some decrease in the temperature of the state. The capital Patna fell by eight degrees to a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was 38 degrees Celsius in Motihari. At number two was Farbisganj where the maximum temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius. The average temperature of the state was close to 35 degrees.
There was no rain in any district during the day on Tuesday. There was very light rain in some places in the morning. According to the report released on Tuesday afternoon, Muzaffarpur received 7.6 mm, East Champaran 3.8 and Sitamarhi 2.8 mm.
