Electricity failure in many districts including Nalanda for 12 hours

Almost all the districts of Bihar have received rain on Thursday. Electricity disappeared on Thursday night in many districts due to thunderstorms. Due to strong wind and rain, Bihar Sharif has had power failure for the last 12 hours. The same condition is in many more districts. Nearly hundreds of electric poles in Nalanda have collapsed. Transformers have been burnt in many districts.

Alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department in all the districts of Bihar today (Friday). Let us know that earlier on Wednesday, 13 people died due to celestial lightning in four districts of Bihar.

Announcement to give four lakh compensation

CM Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over such an incident in the state. However, according to government data, only 25 deaths have been claimed. There has been talk of death of 18 in Nalanda, 02 in Siwan, 01 in Katihar, 01 in Darbhanga, 01 in Begusarai, 01 in Bhagalpur and 01 in Jehanabad. The Chief Minister has instructed the families of all the deceased to give grant of four lakh rupees immediately.
