After the continuous increase in temperature for the last 10 days in Bihar, there are big signs of change in the weather. The Meteorological Department has warned of strong wind, light rain in many districts of the state, lightning at some places, thunder and hailstorm at some places from Monday (March 9 to Wednesday, March 11).
The temperature starts increasing as soon as March starts
It was seen that since the beginning of March, two days before Holi, the temperature has been continuously increasing and the heat like April-May has started being felt. The mercury has reached 34.8 degrees in Kaimur on Sunday, while in cities like Motihari, Gaya and Rajgir, both day and night have started getting hot. But amid the continuously increasing heat, the Meteorological Department has given news of relief from Monday.
According to the Meteorological Department, no warning has been given in the western areas of the state. There will be no change in temperature in East Champaran, West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabhua, Aurangabad and Arwal nor has any warning been given in these districts. The temperature in these districts has already been increasing and is likely to continue increasing further.
Light rain expected in these 27 districts of Bihar
There has been a warning of light rain, thunder and at some places even thunder and hailstorm in 27 districts of the north and south, central and eastern regions of the state. Along with this, there is a forecast of strong wind at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers in the eastern areas of North Bihar and South Bihar.

The districts where warning has been issued include Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Shivhar, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, the capital Patna, Nalanda, Gaya, Shekhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger and Khagaria. Has been placed in alert mode.
However, tomorrow on March 10, the weather is expected to change more actively in the districts of eastern areas and on March 11 in the eastern and central districts of North Bihar. Although there is no possibility of much drop in temperature in most of the districts of South Bihar including Patna, there is hope of relief due to wind.
It will affect crops
This change in weather is likely to have mixed effects on crops. According to experts, light rain is beneficial for wheat grains and mango-litchi crops. This will reduce the incidence of pests, but if the wind speed remains high or there is hailstorm, there is a fear of the crop falling and the mango crop being spoiled.
Farmers have been advised to stop irrigation and pesticide spraying for the time being. In view of the bad weather, the administration has appealed to the people not to take shelter in open fields, trees or under electric poles during thunderstorms. It is wise to stay away from tin sheds or weak structures during strong winds.

According to Meteorological Center Patna, the way the temperature is increasing now. This is the highest temperature of this season in 15 years. The scorching sun and westerly winds had made people uneasy during the day, but now the moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal have changed the trend of the weather.
Due to the area of cyclonic winds formed from north-western Uttar Pradesh to Odisha, a situation of thunderstorm and rain is being created in Bihar. Last Sunday, the lowest minimum temperature of night and morning was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius in Saharsa, while the highest minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius in the capital Patna and Forbesganj.
What was the temperature in these areas?
In Purnia, Chhapra and Supaul, the minimum temperature was between 22 to 323 degrees, while the maximum temperature was 34.5 degrees Celsius in Kaimur, while the capital Patna also recorded a day temperature of 32.9 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Rajgir, Buxar and Motihari was between 33 to 34 degrees, while the lowest temperature was recorded in Madhepura at 28.01 degrees Celsius.
