Bihar News: Vineet Kumar, the new SP of Jehanabad district of Bihar, has taken major action in a serious matter. ASI Manas Pandey, accused of molesting a trainee Dalit woman police sub -inspector, has been suspended. Along with this, the SP has ordered to register a case in this case. During the suspension, Magadh has requested the Inspector General of Police to exclude ASI from the district headquarters.
The woman police sub -inspector lodged her complaint at the Mahila police station in Jehanabad on 24 June. The incident took place on 9 March, when the victim complained to the then SP. However, the investigation was suppressed at that time. After taking over as the new SP, the victim again spoke, after which the action started.
What is the whole matter?
Accused ASI Manas Pandey was first posted in Jehanabad SDPO office. The victim told in her complaint that she was in her barrack on the day of the incident. Manas Pandey, who lives in a nearby room, stopped his path while going to the bathroom and started molesting him. When the victim protested this, the accused threatened that if they complained about it, they would sieve them with bullets. Not only this, he also said that if he was suspended, he will not leave the victim alive.
Due to this incident, the female sub -inspector remained under the shadow of fear for several days. After gathering a lot of courage, he gave a written complaint to the then SP on March 28. The SP had ordered the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) to investigate the matter at that time. The victim also feared that the accused could also kill her. He also pleaded for the protection of his life and property.
Harassment occurred in the first posting
This was the first posting of the female sub -inspector in Jehanabad. Despite this, he faced such an incident. The legal and departmental process in this matter has now started with his courage and quick action by the new SP.
