This is how Vivek Agnihotri entered the film industry

After entering the world of TV, Vivek gradually turned towards the film industry. He made his Bollywood debut in 2005 with ‘Chocolate’, a remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Usual Suspects’. Although this film was not successful at the box office, he did not give up.

After this he made films like ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Gol’, ‘Hate Story’, ‘Zidd’, and ‘Junooniyat’. These films reflected his storytelling art and different perspective.

Then made such films which made headlines

Vivek Agnihotri’s career shined further when he made films like ‘The Tashkent Files’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’. These films became the subject of debate among critics and audiences. His films contain a mixture of real events and research, which forces the audience to think. At the same time, Vivek Agnihotri also made headlines for ‘The Bengal Files’.

The biggest feature of Vivek Agnihotri’s films is his and his team’s excellent research, documentation and well-crafted screenplay, due to which the audience remains glued to every scene, every frame and every dialogue of the film till the end. Today Vivek Agnihotri is not just a filmmaker, but a director who has created his own style in Bollywood by learning from the world of advertising and branding. He gave importance to ideas and research rather than emotions in films. This is the reason why his films, like an independent filmmaker, give rise to new debates and thinking in the society.
