The Bureau of Indian Standards-BIS has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Scientist-B (Scientist-B ‘). The application process has started from 3 May 2025 and candidates can apply online through the official website bis.gov.in by 23 May 2025. Candidates can also apply through the steps given here.

BIS Recruitment 2025: What should be the qualification?
For engineering related posts, the applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with 60% marks and GATE scores should be valid in 2023, 2024 or 2025. At the same time, candidates for chemistry should have a master’s degree in natural science (chemistry) and a valid gate score. The minimum marks have been given for SC/ST category.

BIS Recruitment 2025: What will selected candidates get?
Scientist-B selected in BIS will get a salary of close to Rs 1,14,945 per month. Apart from this, they will also get other allowances.

BIS Recruitment 2025: How to apply?
- Step 1: Candidates must first visit the official website bis.gov.in.
- Step 2: Then the candidate click on the “Career Opportunities” section.
- Step 3: After this, open the link “Click here to apply online”.
- Step 4: Then the candidates create a new account, fill the necessary information and login.
- Step 5: After this, the candidate fills the application form and submit it.
- Step 6: Then take out the print out of the candidates.
