Sanatan Dharma came long before Islam-Jamal Siddiqui
Earlier, Jamal Siddiqui claimed in an interview that Sanatan Dharma came long before Islam and it is the spiritual foundation of Indian civilization. He said that our identity is still eternal. Jamal Siddiqui quoted the Quran, Hadith and Islamic traditions as saying that 25 prophets are mentioned in the Quran, but according to tradition 1,24,000 prophets were sent. In such a situation, why cannot Lord Rama and Krishna be considered in these prophets? His argument behind his statement was that Islam is not only a prophet (Muhammad), but the religion of the acceptance of all the prophets.
All Muslims descendants of Lord Rama-Siddhiki
Siddiqui, not Islam as a foreign concept in India, described it as part of the local cultural flow and said that all Muslims are descendants of Lord Rama. He clarified that the methods of worship may have changed, but the culture is still eternal.
