Maharashtra BJP leader and former MP Navneet Rana has once again received death threats. This time the threat has been sent in a letter through speed post. This letter has come from Hyderabad. After receiving the threat, the BJP leader complained about it at Rajapeth Police Station in Amravati, on the basis of which the police have registered a non-cognizable case.
It is being told that a letter was received in Navneet Rana’s office on Tuesday (28 October) evening, in which a threat to kill him was written. Not only this, very obscene and objectionable words have been used in this letter. Also, a threat has been given of facing serious consequences.
Police searching for the motive behind the threat
According to information received from sources, this threatening letter has been sent by a person named Javed from Hyderabad. In this matter, Navneet Rana’s personal secretary Mangesh Kokate has immediately lodged a complaint at Rajapeth police station. As soon as the complaint was received, the team of Amravati Crime Branch reached Navneet Rana’s house and started investigating the case.
Police have registered a case and started searching for the accused Javed who gave the threat. The police is investigating for what purpose this letter has been sent.
Navneet Rana has received threats many times before
Let us tell you, this is not the first time that BJP leader Navneet Rana has received such a threat. He has received such threats many times in the past through phone or letter.
Earlier in May 2025, Navneet Rana had allegedly received a call from Pakistan. At that time, when Navneet Rana had lodged a complaint with the police, no FIR was lodged. It was said by the police that in non-cognizable complaints, the police cannot start investigation without the order of the court. This is the time when after Operation Sindoor, Navneet Rana had released a video against Pakistan and scolded it.
