Delhi name plate controversy: The issue of demand for making name plates mandatory at shops in Delhi is in discussion. Regarding this, BJP MLA from Jangpura, Tarvinder Singh Marwah has recently written a letter to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. He has demanded that their names be written outside all the shops on a clear copy, so that the customers do not cause any inconvenience.
Marwah told in a conversation with ABP News that complaints of many people were coming. He says that customers go inside after reading the shop name, but later it is revealed that it is a non -veg shop. This causes a lot of trouble to the people, especially those who prefer vegetarian food.
Demand for installing Aadhaar card- Tarwinder Marwah
According to Tarwinder Marwah, not only in the time or festivals, but these rules should be made mandatory for shopkeepers throughout the year. He also said that there is a need to install the name plate outside the shops as well as the Aadhaar card of the shopkeepers, so that business transparency remains and there is no problem.
The issue will arise in the assembly- Tarwinder Marwah
Marwah said that a letter has been written only to the Chief Minister, but in the next two days this issue will be raised in the assembly as well. He described this initiative as an important step towards customers’ convenience and transparency.
Even before this, some such issues have been raised. PWD Minister Pravesh Verma has also talked about banning illegal meat shops in Delhi. These issues have been raised from the road to the assembly. At the same time, what will be the response of the government on this demand of the BJP MLA, it will be a matter to be seen.
