BJP Suspend Karnataka Big Leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal for 6 Years Comment Against BS Yeediurappa

Karnataka BJP: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shown the way out of the party, taking action on its MLA in Karnataka. The BJP has expelled Basangoda Patil Yatanal, an MLA from Bijapur city in Karnataka, for six years on charges of rhetoric and breaking the party’s discipline against senior leader BS Yeddyurappa. The party’s Central Disciplinary Committee issued a letter to Yatnal on March 26, 2025 and announced their expulsion.

Violation of party discipline

According to the BJP’s Central Discipline Committee, he reviewed the response of MLA Basangora Patil for the show cause notice sent on 10 February. In which it was found that he violated the discipline of the party several times. Due to his good behavior, the party had assured him earlier times, yet he violated the party discipline.

Has made rhetoric against Yeddyurappa

The order signed by the member secretary of the BJP Disciplinary Committee, Om Pathak, states that Basangora Patil has also been removed from all his previous posts in the party. BJP MLA Basangoda Patil has made many objectionable comments in the last few days. He has also made a lot of statements against BS Yeddyurappa. He warned his own party on December 2023. He had said that if he was expelled from the party, he will disclose the alleged scams of Rs 40 thousand crore in the BS Yeddyurappa government during the Kovid-19 epidemic.

The Election Commission issued a notice to Basangauda Patil Yatanal for the objectionable remarks made for Sonia Gandhi in the year 2023 itself. He also said that Jawaharlal Nehru was not the first Prime Minister of India. He described Subhash Chandra Bose as the first PM of India.
