MP BJP: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh has announced to organize a three -day training camp in Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram) from 14 June. This decision has been taken at a time when the BJP is on the target of the opposition for the disputed statements of some party leaders after Operation Sindoor.
Party state president VD Sharma told that the camp was already employed and it should not be seen by linking with recent controversies. The camp will include BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many senior leaders.
BJP national president JP Nadda will address party leaders on 14 June on the first day of this three -day workshop, while the workshop will conclude by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi said, “Training and organizations are part of BJP’s work culture. Such camps are held regularly.”
According to the party, the aim of the camp is to train newly elected MLAs and leaders in party policies, ideology and public relations skills. Earlier, such a camp was organized in Sehore before the 2023 assembly elections.
Disputed statement of leaders became headache
Recently, the statements of many BJP leaders have brought the party into an uncomfortable position. State Tribal Affairs Minister Vijay Shah made objectionable remarks against army officer Colonel Sophia Qureshi at a public event. On this, an FIR was lodged on the instructions of the High Court and the Supreme Court formed a special investigation team.
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora had said that India’s army and soldiers are bowed down to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP MLA from Mangavan Narendra Prajapati claimed that the Indo-Pak ceasefire took place on the orders of the United Nations, otherwise “Modi would have ended Pakistan.” Opposition parties have taken a dig at the BJP regarding these statements.
Madhya Pradesh Congress media coordinator Abhinav Barolia termed the BJP’s training camp as a “fruitless exercise”. He said, “In Shaktipan, BJP leaders feel that they are above the nation. The camp in the cold plains of Pachmarhi will not be able to curb their spoiled lyrics.”
