BJP’s first reaction in the Delhi Excise Policy issue, said- If Arvind Kejriwal was so honest, then…

Bharatiya Janata Party has reacted to the acquittal of Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case by Delhi-based Rouse Avenue Court.

BJP leader Amit Malviya has written a long statement on social media site XPost. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malviya wrote that this decision in the Delhi Excise case is of the lower court. Earlier, Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India have also made strong and serious comments in cases related to the same issue. It remains to be seen how far this decision passes the test of the higher courts. The legal process is not over yet.

BJP’s question- Why did the Delhi government withdraw the policy?

He wrote that if Arvind Kejriwal was so honest, then why did the Delhi government withdraw the policy and make changes in it as soon as there were indications of irregularities? Why were many mobile phones and SIM cards destroyed? Why was the number of sellers reduced so much, while the commission was increased from 6 percent to 12 percent? These decisions raise serious and legitimate questions. The alleged commission or bribery is not imaginary, but these are issues that have been placed before the courts and the public.

Malviya wrote that the most important thing is that Kejriwal’s “One on One Free” scheme harmed the families of Delhi. His policies increased liquor prices and affected the domestic economy. He should be given the harshest punishment for running a morally bankrupt government.

He wrote that the people of Delhi have already given their verdict through the ballot box. Now the judiciary will proceed with its investigation process. Since there are still more levels of judicial review remaining, the final decision is yet to come.
