Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which is fighting the armed conflict in Balochistan, has been carrying out massive attacks on Pakistani Army, ISI, Police and government targets for the last 10 hours. These attacks are being carried out in 11 cities of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, which include the capital Quetta, Mashtung, Kalat, Gwadar, Nushki, Dalbadin, Kharan, Ornach, Panjgur, Tump and Pashani. In these 11 cities, Baloch fighters have targeted army offices, police stations, banks, government administrative offices and ISI offices.
The worst situation is in the outskirts of the capital Quetta, where some time ago, Baloch fighters first looted Awam Bank worth Rs 38 lakh and then set it on fire. Similarly, the police station located in Quetta was also burnt by Baloch fighters after killing the policemen. In Quetta itself, a police van was also targeted by Baloch fighters with a rocket launcher, in which two policemen traveling in the vehicle died on the spot. Apart from this, Baloch fighters attacked with rocket launchers to target the army security personnel deployed outside Balochistan University and Medical College.
Horrific attack on PAK Army bus in Gwadar
Baloch fighters also launched a fierce attack on a Pakistani Army base in Gwadar. Three soldiers and 5 Baloch boys died in this. Not only this, Baloch fighters are still deployed on the highway connecting the capital Quetta with other parts of the country. According to the information, a total of 9 blasts took place in Balochistan’s capital Quetta till 4 pm and news of the death of 7 policemen is coming in Quetta alone. Also, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti also visited the incident site amid heavy security in Quetta, where BLA had first attacked.
PAK claims- 57 BLA fighters killed
According to the information, more than 12 soldiers of Pakistani Army have been killed in BLA attacks. At the same time, 13 police personnel have also died. Also 28 policemen are seriously injured. Whereas according to the Government of Pakistan, till 4 pm, its security agencies have killed 57 BLA fighters. Some pictures of which were also released by the Pakistani Army.
Encounter continues between PAK Army and BLA in 11 cities
It can be seen in the pictures that to overcome the BLA fighters, the army carried out a drone strike in Gwadar and killed BLA fighters in an encounter in Pashani. However, the encounter is still going on between the Army and BLA in 11 cities and at present all the trains coming and going towards Quetta have been cancelled.
Apart from the attack, the BLA has also taken hostage Mohammad Hussain, the deputy commissioner of Nokushi city, and several other government officials. Also, BLA has termed this entire attack as Operation Hereof 2.0. Baloch Liberation Army commander Bashir Zaib Baloch himself is commanding this entire operation.
Army continues to control BLA even after 10 hours
The way BLA has attacked 11 cities simultaneously today, Baloch fighters are still attacking in other areas of Balochistan including the capital Quetta. Pakistan’s security forces are struggling to overcome them even after 10 hours. Sounds of firing were heard around people’s houses in Kharan and Gwadar and an attack drone of Pakistani Army was also seen flying in Noshki. Also, Baloch boys have captured the headquarters of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) located in Noshki and captured 8 CTD officers.
Shahbaz Sharif’s dream of foreign investment in crisis
In such a situation, Pakistan’s dream of foreign investment from other countries including America in the mines of Balochistan may be in trouble, because all the western countries including America invest only considering the security system. After Pakistan’s Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) General Asim Munir’s invitation to US President Donald Trump last year to invest in Balochistan’s Rico Dick Mine, the US government was currently assessing the security aspects before making the investment. In such a situation, the BLA attack in Balochistan today is enough to close or postpone the path of foreign investments in the mines of Balochistan.
