Bla Claim Taken full control of Sorab Bank in Balochistan Fire Police Station Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif Ann

Balochistan Liberation Army: The Baloch Liberation Army has claimed that they have captured the major areas of Balochistan. Baloch fighters captured the city of Surab in Balochistan province on Friday (30 May 2025). The pictures and videos with ABP News confirm that BLA fighters vandalized the police station in Surab city and then set fire.

‘BLA occupies Surab city’

The BLA claimed responsibility for the attack and possession and issued a statement saying that the freedom fighters of BLA have taken full control of the Surab city. He said, “The BLA has occupied major government establishments including banks, levy stations and police stations. According to BLA, the Main Quetta-Karachi and Surab-Gidar highways have also been captured by the Baloch Liberation Army and patrolling at these places.”

Pakistani government did not react

So far there has been no official response from the Pakistani Army or Government regarding this incident. However, the Surab city which the BLA has claimed to occupy the city is considered a strategic point of view. The city is located just 150 km from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.

After these claims of Baloch fighters, questions are being raised on both Pakistan’s security and intelligence agencies. Talking about the city of Surab, this city is located in the Kalat Division of Balochistan province of Pakistan. According to the available information till 2023, the approximate population of Surab city is between 35,000 and 45,000.

BLA closed the Quetta-Karachi highway this month

The BLA closed the Quetta-Karachi highway in this month’s Sharuat and searched the vehicles. BLA members entered the Mongachar market of Kalat and vandalized several government buildings and set it on fire. These included buildings like National Database and Registration Authority, Judicial Campus and National Bank of Pakistan.

During this time, BLA fighters also attacked a police vehicle, in which prisoners were being brought to Quetta from jail. He rescued at least 10 prisoners and took five policemen hostage. This police vehicle was being brought from Gadani jail to send inmates to the central jail of Quetta and March.
