Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at around 11 am on Wednesday, where he was interrogated for about 9 hours. He came out of the ED headquarters at around 7 pm in the evening, where he did not talk to anyone and left for his house. Wearing light brown colored shirts, putting black glasses, wearing tops in the ears, he looked quite upset when he reached the ED office.
Suresh Raina, 38, reached the ED office at 11 am on Wednesday, was seen talking to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and ED personnel outside the office before recording his statement.
Raina was to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in the money laundering case related to the alleged illegal betting app. Sources had said that the federal investigative agency would record his statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in connection with an investigation related to an “illegal” betting app (1 Xbate).
