BMW Motorrad has launched its entry-level sports bike BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition in India. This launch is special for the company because BMW has recently crossed the record for sales of 10,000 units of this bike in India. The limited edition includes special graphics and decals, including wheel rims and ‘1/310’ badging on the fuel tank. It has been launched in only two color options – Cosmic Black and Polar White. The company has made it clear that only 310 units will be built. Let’s look at its features.
Engine and power
- No technical changes have been made in BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition. It has the same 312cc single-cylinder, water-cooled, four-stroke engine. This engine generates power of 34 bhp and torque of 27 Nm. It is associated with a 6-speed gearbox, which gives smooth and powerful performance.
Riding modes
- Actually, this bike has four riding modes, so that the rider can control the bike better under different circumstances. The track mode is for high performance and late braking. Urban mode gives balanced performance for the city’s traffic conditions. Sport mode is for full throttle and max acceleration, while Rain Mode gives better control on wet roads.
Equipped with premium features
- To make BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition more special, it has many premium features. This includes ride-by-wire technology, race-tune-anti-hoping clutch, dual channel ABS with rear-wheel lift-off protection. Apart from this, there is a 5-inch TFT display, which shows the necessary information like riding modes, speed and temperature. For better riding experience, the front of the bike has an upside-down (USD) fork and a direct-mounted spring strut with aluminum swing arm in the rear. For tires, the company has used Michelin Pilot Street Radial.
Price and warranty
- The ex-showroom price of BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition has been kept at 2.99 lakhs. The company is also offering 3 -year unlimited kilometers warranty and financial schemes with this bike. Along with this, rider gear and accessories package are also included.
