Chhattisgarh Board Exam Paper Leak: A big decision has been taken by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the students of class 12th. The board has canceled the Hindi subject examination held on 14 March 2026. This step was taken when complaints of question paper being leaked came to light and the news of the paper going viral started spreading rapidly on social media.
In the information issued by the board, it has been clearly stated that the Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) Hindi examination (code 010/810) will now be considered “void and invalid”. That means the marks of this exam will not be valid and students will have to re-appear.
How did the matter come to light?
The very next day of the exam, i.e. on 15th and 16th March, some posts started spreading rapidly on social media. It was claimed that the Hindi question paper was leaked even before the examination. At some places, the same questions which were asked in the examination were seen circulating. After these claims the matter became serious. On receiving complaints, FIR was registered and investigation started. The board also took this entire matter seriously and called a meeting of the examination committee.
Decision taken in the examination committee meeting
This matter was discussed in detail in the examination committee meeting held on 23 March 2026. After looking at the available evidence and reports, the committee considered that the sanctity of the examination has been affected. In such a situation, it is necessary to cancel the examination to maintain fairness. On the recommendation of the committee, the board decided to cancel the Hindi examination held on March 14.
Now when will the exam be held again?
The board has also announced the new date. The re-examination of Hindi subject will now be held on Friday, April 10, 2026. The timing of the exam will remain the same, from 9 am to 12:15 pm.
No change in syllabus
The board has made it clear that the exam will be held on the basis of the prescribed syllabus of class 12 like before. The rules and guidelines will also remain the same as before. It has also been said that even if for some reason a local holiday is declared on that day, the examination will still be conducted at the scheduled time.

- All students should sit at their examination center by 9 am
- Answer sheet will be given at 9 o’clock
- Question paper will be distributed at 9:05 am
- You will get time to read the question paper from 9:05 to 9:10
- Answer writing will start from 9:15 am
- Exam will end at 12:15 pm
