Bobby deol kicked out of jab we met: Bobby Deol is everywhere these days. Since he has made a comeback, he has a line of films. Bobby is now seen mostly in a negative character. Bobby has recently revealed that Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We were also going to be seen in V Jab Met, but he was later shown the way out of the film.
Bobby spoke about Jab We Met in a special conversation with instant Bollywood. Bobby said that he was completely with Imtiaz in the development of the film but was later sidelined and Kareena-Shahid was taken in the lead role.
Bobby Deol had said when it talks about making We Met
Bobby Deol made it clear that he was never officially offered the film but Bobby was with him with his beginning. Bobby said- ‘I was not offered the film. When I thought it was being made, I saw its rush print. I caught Imtiaz and said- Look, your film has not been released yet, it was just half. If I am working with you, write the script. After this he started writing scripts for me. I worked very hard to make We Met. I went to many people for this.
Went to many producers
Bobby worked very hard to make the right team for the film. He said- ‘I approached the Ashtavinayak producer. He came to me to make a film. I appointed him the name of Imtiaz but he refused. He wanted to work with another director. At that time, I and Imtiz were very good friends. There are still but were very close at that time. Bobby tried to cast the lead actress. He was trying to talk to two top actresses. Bobby said- ‘Then Imtiaz said that he wants Kareena Kapoor, so I held a meeting with Kareena with the help of someone. But Kareena refused. After that I talked to Preity Zinta but she was not interested at that time.
After doing so much effort, when the project progressed, Bobby was side by side. He said- ‘The industry is such that the producer whom I had appointed Imtiaz, he finally took them out and I was thrown out. After which Kareena and Shahid got the lead role. This is like this.
