Sameera Reddy posted a video on social media platform Instagram on Friday, in which Shanta along with her mother-in-law has reached Durga temple. The actress told in the post that her mother-in-law is a Gaur Saraswat Brahmin, who was born in Madikeri, Coorg, Karnataka, but she is a Gujarati.

She told that at her mother-in-law’s house, Kul Devi of Mangeshi Temple is worshipped, whereas at her husband’s house, Kul Devi Shanta Durga Temple is worshipped. Sameera along with her mother-in-law worshiped the Mother Goddess and also offered lotus flowers.
Sameera wants to teach both her children about different cultures, so that they can know the culture and heritage closely. Let us tell you that the name of the actress’s mother-in-law is Manjari Bhat, who is Gujarati and has been in Mumbai since childhood, while Sameera’s father is Reddy Garu, who belongs to Andhra Pradesh. Talking about work front, Sameera has returned to Bollywood with the film ‘Chilam’. The actress herself had said in an interview that when my son saw my film Race, he said, ‘Mother, you looked so different earlier. Why don’t you do films now? I replied, “Son, I left films to take care of you both, but I realized that I should do something.”
Along with this, Sameera also spoke openly about the trolling regarding her increased weight after pregnancy. She had told that she had become a victim of depression due to her weight.
