In the video shared by Soha Ali Khan, she was seen roaming in the Eden Gardens grounds. In this video, a clip of that memorable India vs West Indies Test match of 1974 was also shown. In that match, India had registered a memorable victory over West Indies. Soha Ali Khan was seen sitting in the stands of Eden Gardens. He looked at an old photograph of his father and also talked about it.

Remembering her father, Soha Ali Khan wrote, “Abba, on your birthday, I wanted to stand at the place where the game remembers you. Eden Gardens may be empty today, but it is never quiet for you. A ground where you loved playing, where you captained the Indian team many times. Perhaps the most memorable was the 1974 match against the West Indies.”

Mansoor Ali Khan played 46 test matches for India in his cricket career, in which he scored 2793 runs. He also scored 6 centuries and 16 half-centuries for India.
