Bollywood Films Title Renamed after Controversy Padmaavat Ram Leela Billu Judgementall Hai Kya Laxmii

The title of Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ was earlier ‘Prithviraj’. After the opposition of Karni Sena, the makers had to change the name of the film.

The name of Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani’s film ‘Satyaprem Ka Katha’ was earlier the story of ‘Satyanarayana’. However, there was a dispute over it and the title was changed.

Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor’s film ‘Padmavati’ was announced. But there was an uproar on this name and the film was changed to ‘Padmavat’.

The name of ‘Goliyon Ki Raas Leela- Ram Leela’ was also earlier ‘Ram Leela’. There was a lot of opposition to this title.

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s film was named ‘Mantle Hai Kya’. But the film was accused of taunting the mental condition of the people, after which its name also had to be changed.

There was also a lot of controversy about the title of Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Lakshmi’. The name of the film was earlier ‘Lakshmi Bomb’.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film was named ‘Billu Barbar’. But a person from the barber community of Mumbai objected to his people being called a barber. In such a situation, the name of the film was changed to ‘Billu’ only.
