Multi-starrer film ‘Border-2’ has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India and is making huge money at the box office. The story of four brave soldiers is shown in the film, one of which is played by Ahan Shetty. This film full of patriotism and emotion is getting a lot of love from the people.
This journey was not easy for Ahan Shetty
Ahan Shetty played the role of a naval officer in the film but for him this film was not just a character. Shooting was quite challenging for him because his father Sunil Shetty had been an important part of the first part of the film ‘Border’. In such a situation, Ahaan had the responsibility of not only acting but also carrying forward his father’s legacy.
Regret of not being able to shoot with father
Talking to IANS, Ahan Shetty said that he regrets that he could not shoot in the film with his father. He said that the last scene of the film was such that he wanted to do it with his father but it could not happen. Ahaan told that he already knew that as soon as the film was released, he would be compared to Sunil Shetty, especially because he had to play the same special scene which his father had done in the first part.
There was fear too but there was a greater sense of responsibility.
Ahaan admitted that initially he was nervous wondering whether he would be able to do justice to this role or not. He also felt that comparisons were inevitable. But at the same time he also realized that now the responsibility of carrying forward his father’s legacy rests on his shoulders. He said that nothing can be achieved by being afraid, hence he did not allow any kind of pressure on himself and tried to play the character honestly with full focus.
Ahaan is happy with people’s love
Ahan Shetty further said that the response the film is getting means a lot for him. People not only liked the film but also praised his work, which is the biggest happiness for him. Comparisons between Ahaan and Sunil Shetty started right from the time of the trailer release, but with the support of his father and his hard work, Ahaan proved that there is no dearth of talent in him too.
