There is a huge buzz among the fans regarding this film. Today on January 15, on the special occasion of Army Day, the makers have released a tremendous trailer of this film. After watching the trailer, the feeling of patriotism runs through the veins.

Apart from Sunny Deol, Border 2 also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty in lead roles. Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana have been cast as female leads. The film focuses on the real story of Major Soldier Hoshiar Singh, whose role is played by Varun Dhawan. The trailer of the film starts with Sunny Deol. Sunny Deol had announced the release of the trailer of Border 2 on his official X account. It was written in the post, “There is no other story bigger than this story, there is no bigger celebration than this victory. The trailer of Border 2 will be released in theaters today, 23 January 2026.” On the night of 14 January, Sunny Deol had also spent time with Navy soldiers. He has also shared the selfie taken with the soldiers on social media and along with it he has written, “Hindustan my love, my pride, my pride, Hindustan, pride, honor and bravery.”

The much awaited film of the year 2026 ‘Border 2’ will be released in theaters across the world in the long weekend of Republic Day i.e. on January 23, 2026. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, the aim of this film is to pay respect to the legacy of the first film as well as attract the new generation of viewers. This film is based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971 and shows the story of brave soldiers.
