Brits scored 4 centuries in five matches
Tajmin Brits is batting very well. This South African player has scored 4 centuries in the last 5 ODIs. Brits has scored five centuries so far this year. With this, Britts has become the player to score the most centuries in a year in women’s cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of India’s star player Smriti Mandhana. Smriti had scored four centuries in 2024, whereas this Indian player has scored four centuries in this year 2025 also.
South Africa won the match by 6 wickets
A very exciting match was played between New Zealand and South Africa in the Women’s World Cup. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first. But Tajmin Brits’ century and Sune Luus’ unbeaten inning of 83 runs helped South Africa win the match in just 40.5 overs. South Africa defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in this match.
