The year 2025 was very special for cinema lovers, this year more than one pictures were released. Many films from Bollywood to South dominated the box office. The box office report card of films released from January to June this year has come out. Let’s see which film dominated the box office.
According to the report of the Omax Media, 13 films in the films released this year managed to cross the 100 crore mark at the box office. At the same time, only 3 films were able to make it to the 200 crore club. In the first 6 months of 2025, there was only one film that entered the 500 crore club.
Only one film in 500 crore club
In all the films from Bollywood to South Film Industry released in 2025, only Chhawa is the film which has crossed the 500 crore mark. Vicky Kaushal starrer The film has set the record for the highest earning film of 2025. Chhava has earned a total of Rs 693 crore at the Indian box office and no one has crossed this figure so far.
Films to join 200 crore club
Many films released this year managed to be a part of the 200 crore club. This list includes three films- Stars on the ground, Housefull 5 and Sankrantiki Vastunam.
