Stock Market News: On Wednesday, October 15, the third trading day of the week, the Indian stock market started with a green mark. The 30-share BSE Sensex index started trading at 82,197.25 with a rise of 167.27 points. At the same time, NSE Nifty 50 also opened trading with a green mark at 25,181.95 with a rise of 36.45 points or 0.14 percent.
By 9:25 pm, the Sensex was trading at 82,350, up 320 points. Whereas Nifty 50 was trading at 25,235 with a rise of 90 points.

How was the market on Tuesday?
The second trading session of the week, on October 14, saw a huge fall in the Indian stock market and both the major indices closed in the red. Sensex ended the trading day at 82,029.98 with a fall of 297.02 points or 0.36 percent, while Nifty 50 ended the trading day at 25,145.50 with a fall of 81.85 points or 0.32 percent.
Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, PowerGrid were the top gainers from the BSE basket. Talking about the top losers, TCS, BEL, Tata Steel, NTPC and Bajaj Finance were. Whereas a decline was recorded in Nifty Bank, Nifty Midcap 100, Nifty Midcap 100, Nifty Auto. On Tuesday’s trading day, almost all the indices closed in the red. Global fluctuations and huge selling had turned the stock market red.
On Tuesday, the stock market started with a green mark. Sensex jumped 77 points to 82,404 while Nifty 50 index opened with a gain of 50 points at 25,277.
