A case of brutal murder of a youth leader of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has come to light in Narela area of Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Bhupendra Dahiya alias Binu (38), resident of Sonipat, Haryana, who was working as the youth head of Rai Halka in INLD., The criminals not only brutally murdered but also tried to burn the body by setting it on fire to destroy its identity.,
Late on the night of January 1, the police had received information about a dead body in a farm house located in Lampur village of Narela police station area., Police reached the spot and found Bhupendra’s body in a semi-burnt condition., There were deep injury marks on the head of the dead body and his mobile phone and a huge amount of burnt cash (thousands of rupees) were recovered nearby.,
Bhupendra had left the house with money
Deceased’s brother Praveen Kumar told that on the evening of January 1, Bhupendra had left the house to give money to someone., He was able to be contacted till 6 pm, but after that his phone stopped working., When the family reached the spot around 11 pm, they were stunned to see the scene., The killers sprinkled oil on the body and set the money on fire to destroy evidence.,
Police engaged in investigation and FSL Team
Considering the seriousness of the incident, top police officers and FSL (Forensic team inspected the incident site at night itself., Police are scanning the footage of nearby CCTV cameras so that the route of the accused can be traced.
