Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is preparing to release the result of class 10 i.e. matriculation very soon. It is likely that the result will be declared by March 31, 2026. Students will be able to check the results on the official site results.biharboardonline.com. Students can check the results with the help of the steps mentioned here.
If we look at the records of the last few years, this assumption becomes stronger. In the last four years, thrice the results were declared on March 31, whereas in 2025 the results came on March 29. Considering the same pattern, this year also the results are expected to be declared by the last day of March.
Before releasing the result, the board completes a special process, which is called Toppers Verification. The students who get the highest marks are called to the board headquarters in Patna. Here they are interviewed, their handwriting is seen and their answer sheets are re-checked.
What will be in the online marksheet?
The marksheet issued by the board on the website is temporary. Students will have to collect their original marksheet from their school later. Therefore, the online marksheet will be considered for information only. All the information like student’s name, roll number, subject wise marks, total marks, practical marks, division, percentage or grade and pass/fail status will be given in the online marksheet.

How many students took the exam this year
This year around 15,12,687 students appeared for the 10th examination of Bihar Board. This examination was conducted at 1,699 centers across Bihar. The examination was conducted in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Each subject was of 100 marks and to pass, students were required to score at least 33 percent marks. Step 2: Students click on the link “BSEB Matric Result 2026” on the home page.
Step 3: Now students enter their roll code and roll number.
Step 4: After this, as soon as you press the submit button, your result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Students should download it and take a print out and keep it with them.
