BSEB Compartment Exam 2026: If you are a student of Bihar Board 12th and for some reason could not appear in the exam this time or could not pass in one or two subjects, then there is good news for you. Bihar School Examination Board has started the application process for Special and Compartment Examination 2026. This is another opportunity for those students who want to improve their marks or complete the missed exams.
Bihar Board has given special advice to students and parents not to wait for the last date of application. Often in the last days, there may be a problem with the website or process, due to which it may become difficult to fill the form.
When can you fill the form?
Bihar Board has made it clear that applications for Intermediate Special and Compartment Examination 2026 have started from 25 March 2026. Students can apply till 2 April 2026.
The process of filling the form will be completely online, but students cannot fill it directly. For this they will have to apply through their school. Therefore, students are being advised not to wait for the last date and get their forms filled in time.
Which students can apply for special exam?
- The special examination is for those students who could not appear in the main examination under certain circumstances.
- Students who had passed the sent-up (pre-board) examination but due to some reason could not appear in the main examination.
- Such old students (Ex-students) who are associated with the session 2022–24 or 2023–25 and have failed earlier.
- That means, if you had tried earlier but could not succeed, now you have another chance.
Who is eligible for compartment exam?
- Compartment exam is for those students who have lagged behind in some subjects or students have failed in maximum 2 subjects.
- Students who were absent in the theory examination of 1-2 subjects.
- This means that if you have passed most of the subjects, you will get a chance to improve only the weak subjects.
